The Light Between

The Light Between was suspended in the 10-story interior atrium of 125 High St. in downtown Boston from February 2015 through January 2020. The piece energized the space and reflected and enhanced the abundant natural light pouring in from the glass roof above. Comprising more than seven miles of aluminum ribbon, over 450 aluminum strands are suspended from overhead cables. Each of the 110’ long metal strands is hand sculpted. The piece activated and enlivened the empty atrium space whether experienced from the lobby level or one of the surrounding offices.
