Mother + Daughter
Mother + Daughter opened on Saturday, May 22th and ran through June 20th, 2021 at the Jessica Hagen Fine Art&Design Gallery in Newport, RI.
The show featured the artwork of Anne Mimi Sammis and her daughter Anne Patterson. It was the first time that the artists have exhibited their sculpture and paintings together.
Sammis and Patterson each believe that their work should serve humanity by uplifting people’s spirits and creating joy. Gallery owner Jessica Hagen states, “Mimi and Anne are not only mother and daughter, but kindred spirits in their heart centered approach to creating. It’s an honor to present this exhibition.”
