Orchestral Installation
An evening of music can be exciting to the ear, the intellect,
and the eye. Anne Patterson is expanding the boundaries within
which classical music is presented.
Anne Patterson creates a complex visual language of scenery, lighting and projection.
Throughout the performance these visuals are manipulated in response to the music.
Anne is fascinated in exploring the way in which we “see” music and as such the beauty
and magic of the music is the inspiration for these ideas. One of the goals of these
endeavors is to enhance the concert experience for the audience member.
These initiatives have attracted new audiences, specifically a younger more visually
oriented group. A concert is inherently a theatrical experience. The inclusion of
scenery and lighting makes it explicit. |
